SANTO TORIBIO DE LIÉBANA:
The Monastery of Saints Toribio de Liébana is situated 2 km from Potes, in the heart of Liébana valley.
The early monastery buildings were constructions in the Pre-Romanesque style.
The temple is in the monastic gothic style and Cistercian influences.
The Monastery of Santo Toribio is one of only Holy sites in the workd, alongside Jerusalem, Roma, Caravaca de la Cruz and Santiago de Compostela.
In the Monastery is the Lignum Crucis, the largest known piece of the croos upon which Christ was crucified.

Just 28 km from Potes are the Cable-Car installations at Fuente De.
With the Cable-Car access the Central Massif of the Picos de Europa, takes you to 1850 m in only 3 minutes and 40 seconds.
The views are marvellous.
